Samuel Barrett graduated from Royal Holloway University of London and will work as an awardee of the Austrian Academy of Sciences on lacustrine sediments in the Inn valley. Zhijun Wang received his M.Sc. from the Southwest University in Chongqing, China, and his doctoral research will focus on paleoenvironmental change and geoarchaeology in Tibet. He holds a PhD fellowship from the Chinese Scholarship Council.
