Cave monitoring website relaunched

The idea of such a global database of cave sites where environmental monitoring has been carried out for at least one year was born at the 2nd International Workshop of Cave Monitoring in Innsbruck, Austria (2012). An initial version of such a website was programmed by Simon Mischel and was in operation for a few years.
Over the past few months Gina Moseley and Christoph Spötl made a major effort to set up a new-look, easy-to-use and updateable version, and recently announced this relaunch to the scientific community. We want to thank Kathleen Johnson, Pauline Treble, David Mattey and many other colleagues for their support.
We hope that this new platform will improve and coordinate research activities in the fields of cave meteorology, karst and speleothem science, and subterranean ecology.
Access the new website here.
