Four months after our first visit Mojgan Soleimani, Yuri Dublyansky, Gabriella Koltai and Christoph Spötl went back to Iran to visit further caves. Our target was the area north and northwest of Isfahan. Supported by local cavers we visited six sites and sampled five of them for speleothems. Although some caves were unfortunately vandalised we managed to find suitable samples and prepared slabs at the Geology Department of the University of Isfahan, our partner in this PhD project of Mojgan.
