Frauenofen converted from an ice cave (in the near-entrance parts) to an ice-free cave around the middle of the last century. This time we explored also the interior parts in search for evidence of an even larger extent of perennial cave ice in the past. Under a special permit we also sampled bone material which will be studied in collaboration with Martina Pacher.
