In the last issue of Quaternary Science Reviews we report about the landscape evolution and earth surface dynamics on the southern Tibetan Plateau since the Last Glacial Maximum. The study also highlights the high vulnerability of these high-altitude ecotones to human perturbation. See Meyer et al., 2020 for details.
