Wolfgang has a master degree in microbiology with several years of experience in the laboratories of the department of microbiology at the University Innsbruck. He also worked in the chemical industry for more than a decade and is now responsible for the OSL laboratory as lab manager and technician.
Wolfgang started his new position this autumn and already joined the german LED meeting in Bonn in October, allowing him to familiarize with the luminescence methods, instrumentation and community.
We are happy to have Wolfgang in the Quaternary Research Group and wish him a good start in the rocky geosciences!
