Late Pleistocene human occupation in arid regions, particularly Tibet and central Australia.
Quaternary environmental change and associated human and landscape responses.
Behavioural evolution of Homo sapiens.
Developing luminescence-based approaches for dating rock surfaces and archaeological structures.
Using the OSL signal from single grains of quartz to resolve the depositional and post-depositional histories of sediments in a wide range of settings.
