Mattis Adam

Mattis master´s thesis will shed light on the sedimentary dynamics of the last glacial cycle in the Lower Inn valley (Austria). Using a drill core recovered by the ÖBB near Kufstein, he applies OSL and IRSL dating to fine‑grained lacustrine sediments. Preliminary evidence suggests the core extends well beyond the last interglacial, offering a unique archive of paleoenvironmental change in the Lower Inn Valley.
