New Geotrail

The Geo.Trail Achensee is a new educational trail featuring geoscientific topics including karst and Quaternary geology, which was designed for the public. The idea for this trail came from Hans Walser, who approached Christoph Spötl, who then supervised a Bachelor's thesis by Stephanie Benischke in 2021. Based on Stephanie's concept, the trail was built with ten stations and finally opened on 20 June 2025.
